It’s National Eye Health Week this week and I want to emphasise healthy eating. If you eat a wide variety of coloured fruits and vegetables and egg yolks and oily fish, the nutrients in these foods help build up your macula pigment. Having thick macula pigment helps your eyes withstand the ageing changes that cause macula degeneration, the largest cause of blindness in the UK. So…eat well to see well…
