Annabelle is growing up and is off to big school after the summer holidays, so she chose a more sophisticated frame style, along with coated lenses, this time – and doesn’t she look great?!
It’s very important for our children’s – and everybody else’s – ocular, mental and physical health that we don’t spend too much time on digital devices. Obviously some jobs require a lot of screen time, but remember the 20:20:20 rule; every 20 minutes look up for 20 seconds 20 feet away. Meantime hold the screen as far away as possible and look up from it as much as possible.
And, parents, try and limit your children’s screen time and encourage them to play out-of-doors; we all benefit from being out of doors as much as we can.
Vada is going up to High School after the summer holidays so she and her mum chose these fabulous frames and Vada’s having thinner, coated lenses – so she’s all set.
Do you know that eye examinations in Scotland are funded by the NHS, so there is no need to delay booking an appointment?
As well as making the most of your vision in fabulous frames and precision lenses an eye examination allows us to assess the health of your eyes and even some aspects of your general health (when I was at university one of my lecturers told us that the only disease that doesn’t show up in the eyes is ingrowing toenails! – a bit of an exaggeration, but it gives you the general idea!).
Ring 01382 224620 to book an appointment and let our friendly and expert team make the most of your eyesight in fabulous frames and precision lenses, or with contact lenses as well.
