I feel very privileged and blessed to be the optometrist here at Lindsay and Johnson. I had wanted my own practice since I was newly qualified and I have now been here for almost 28 years! My colleagues are wonderful and I have such lovely patients that work doesn’t feel like working.
It is such a great thing to be able to help people with their vision. I work hard to stay up-to-date and my colleagues work hard choosing a great range of frames for you to choose from.
It is wonderful when a patient puts on new glasses and is thrilled with them or loves being able to wear contact lenses.
Sometimes we have to tell bad news and we do our best to support patients in any way we can and we always strive to make the most of the patients’ vision.
We have three generations of some families trusting us with their eyecare and I am on the fourth generation of some families – as I say it’s all a privilege.
